Electrician website design in Bristol

Georgian and Victorian stock where the wiring has been through four hands, a heavy rented sector in Easton and Bedminster, and hills that make the difference between a morning job and a day.

Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

The awkward bits

The things you say before you say yes

My work comes through builders

It does until a builder retires or brings it in house, and that is a six month hole with no notice. The site is also the second check after a recommendation — the version of that check where a homeowner finds nothing and rings the next name instead.

Is a charger page worth writing here?

It depends on the street. Half of Bristol has no off-street parking and no charger job in it, and Henleaze, Westbury on Trym and Stoke Bishop do. Write the page at the districts with drives rather than at the city, and it stops being a wasted afternoon.

Which side of the boundary am I even on?

Both, and the page should say so. Fishponds and Frenchay are Bristol; Kingswood, Hanham, Downend and Mangotsfield are South Gloucestershire, all addressed to Bristol. Two jobs a mile apart, two building control departments, one line on your site that says you handle either.

I am booked six months ahead as it is

Then the page is for choosing rather than for filling. When the diary is full the only improvement left is a better class of job, and that comes from describing the work you want instead of answering whatever rings. A waiting list is worth saying out loud, too.

What you get

The pages your site needs

A page per job, never a page per suburb.

Fault finding

Tripping, dead sockets, flickering lights. The fastest page you own.

Consumer unit upgrades

Bought after an inspection and searched for by name.

EICR and inspections

A buyer with a deadline and a five year clock.

Rewires

What happens to the house while you are in it.

EV charger installation

High value, and a page most local firms have not written.

Outdoor and garden power

Seasonal, uncontested, and easy to be first for.

What each of these pages has to do

The one question your form must ask

Is it a fault or a planned job?

Faults want a phone number; planned work wants photographs, and mixing the two wastes both.

One thing about Bristol worth checking

Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.

There is no BS12, and BS15 and BS16 sit across the boundary — Fishponds and Frenchay are Bristol, while Kingswood, Hanham, Downend, Mangotsfield and Emersons Green are South Gloucestershire. Two jobs a mile apart can go through different building control.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Bristol and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for electricians who do.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked most

How much does a website cost for an electrician?
Ours work out at under the price of a coffee a day and you get the figure on the first call, not after three emails. Across the market, expect a few hundred pounds for a template to several thousand for anything written. Ask whoever you speak to for the five year total.
Why is my electrical business not on Google Maps?
Usually no Google Business Profile at all, or one nobody verified, or a business name that does not match the one on your site, or no reviews yet. In that order. It costs nothing to fix and it does more for your phone than a redesign will.

Next step

Tell us your trade and the towns you cover

A straight yes, no, or not yet, within one working day.

Nothing to sign

No twelve month tie in, no exit fee and no notice period. Stop whenever you like and the site stays yours.

It is yours, in writing

Before you pay a penny we tell you who the domain is registered to, where the files sit, who holds the logins, and how to move the site elsewhere.

Your side of it is small

No copy to write and no hosting to work out. Answer questions for about an hour and a half and send twelve decent photos.
