Builder website design in Bristol

Hillside plots where the retaining wall is the job, Georgian frontages nobody may alter, and a conservation map that decides what is possible before you have priced anything.

Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

Places your site can be built to cover, never a list of builder jobs anyone has done in them.

The awkward bits

The things you say before you say yes

Half my quotes die waiting on planning

So take planning out of the unknown. A page that says which streets are in a conservation area, what usually gets through and what does not, is doing the homeowner's homework for them — and it is the reason they ring you rather than the firm that promised no problem.

Work comes through architects and always has

Until one of them changes their preferred list, which happens without warning. The page is also the check a homeowner runs after they hear your name — the version of that check where they find nothing and quietly ring somebody else.

Which building control am I even under?

It depends on the street. Fishponds and Frenchay are Bristol; Kingswood, Hanham, Downend, Mangotsfield and Emersons Green are South Gloucestershire, all addressed to Bristol. Two jobs a mile apart, two departments, and one line on your site that says you handle either.

I am booked six months ahead as it is

Then the page is for choosing rather than for filling. When the diary is full the only improvement left is a better class of job, and that comes from describing the work you want instead of answering whatever rings. A waiting list is worth saying out loud, too.

What you get

The pages your site needs

A page per job, never a page per suburb.

Extensions

The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.

Loft conversions

A different buyer from an extension, so a different page.

Renovations

Dates and sequence matter more than finished photographs.

Groundwork and foundations

The part nobody photographs and everybody worries about.

Structural alterations

Where building control and a calculation enter the conversation.

Garden rooms and garages

The faster jobs that keep a team busy between the big ones.

What each of these pages has to do

The one question your form must ask

Do you have drawings yet?

It sorts a customer who is ready to book from one who is eighteen months out, and both are worth having.

One thing about Bristol worth checking

Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.

There is no BS12, and BS15 and BS16 sit across the boundary — Fishponds and Frenchay are Bristol, while Kingswood, Hanham, Downend, Mangotsfield and Emersons Green are South Gloucestershire. Two jobs a mile apart can go through different building control.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Bristol and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for builders who do.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked most

How much does a website cost for a builder?
Ours come in under the price of a coffee a day and you get the number on the first call. Across the market a template is a few hundred pounds and a written site is several thousand. Whoever you use, ask for the five year total including hosting and changes.
Why is my building company not showing on Google Maps?
Almost always no Google Business Profile, one that was never verified by post or video, a business name and address that does not match your site, or no reviews at all. Fix them in that order. All four are free and all four beat a redesign.

Next step

Tell us your trade and the towns you cover

A straight yes, no, or not yet, within one working day.

Nothing to sign

No twelve month tie in, no exit fee and no notice period. Stop whenever you like and the site stays yours.

It is yours, in writing

Before you pay a penny we tell you who the domain is registered to, where the files sit, who holds the logins, and how to move the site elsewhere.

Your side of it is small

No copy to write and no hosting to work out. Answer questions for about an hour and a half and send twelve decent photos.
