Builder website design in Nottingham

A student belt where turning a house into rooms needs planning permission that the same job two streets away does not, and suburbs across the Trent where the work is a family extension and a different council entirely.

Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

Places your site can be built to cover, never a list of builder jobs anyone has done in them.

The awkward bits

The things you say before you say yes

Landlords ask me things I have to go and look up

So look them up once and put the answers on a page. Whether a conversion needs permission in that part of the city, what building control wants, how long it takes. The landlord who finds that page has stopped ringing round and started ringing you.

I am busy enough already

Busy is not the same as choosing. When everything rings through you take what comes and price it fast. When the site describes the jobs you want and asks about drawings, size and timescale first, the phone starts filtering instead of queueing.

Does West Bridgford belong on my Nottingham page?

On its own page. NG2 is the Meadows and Sneinton in the city and West Bridgford across the river in Rushcliffe — different council, different planning office, and a homeowner who does not think of themselves as Nottingham at all.

Half my year is quiet and half of it is chaos

That is a page problem as much as a trade one. The quiet months have their own searches — planned work, inspections, the small jobs — and nobody writes for them because everybody writes for the busy ones. Two pages aimed at February are worth more than a fifth aimed at September.

What you get

The pages your site needs

A page per job, never a page per suburb.

Extensions

The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.

Loft conversions

A different buyer from an extension, so a different page.

Renovations

Dates and sequence matter more than finished photographs.

Groundwork and foundations

The part nobody photographs and everybody worries about.

Structural alterations

Where building control and a calculation enter the conversation.

Garden rooms and garages

The faster jobs that keep a team busy between the big ones.

What each of these pages has to do

The one question your form must ask

Do you have drawings yet?

It sorts a customer who is ready to book from one who is eighteen months out, and both are worth having.

One thing about Nottingham worth checking

Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.

NG2 is two places at once — the Meadows and Sneinton on the city side, West Bridgford across the Trent in Rushcliffe — so one district number here spans two councils and two different sets of planning rules.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Nottingham and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for builders who do.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked most

How much does a website cost for a builder?
Ours come in under the price of a coffee a day and you get the number on the first call. Across the market a template is a few hundred pounds and a written site is several thousand. Whoever you use, ask for the five year total including hosting and changes.
Why is my building company not showing on Google Maps?
Almost always no Google Business Profile, one that was never verified by post or video, a business name and address that does not match your site, or no reviews at all. Fix them in that order. All four are free and all four beat a redesign.

Next step

Tell us your trade and the towns you cover

A straight yes, no, or not yet, within one working day.

Nothing to sign

No twelve month tie in, no exit fee and no notice period. Stop whenever you like and the site stays yours.

It is yours, in writing

Before you pay a penny we tell you who the domain is registered to, where the files sit, who holds the logins, and how to move the site elsewhere.

Your side of it is small

No copy to write and no hosting to work out. Answer questions for about an hour and a half and send twelve decent photos.
