Extensions
The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.
Back-to-backs that cannot be extended, semis in Alwoodley that can, and a landlord market in LS6 that wants a house turned into rooms. Three completely different jobs, and one website is currently speaking to none of them.
Three weeks from go ahead to live, and about ninety minutes of your time: one call, twelve photographs, one read through.

The awkward bits
Back-to-backs cannot be extended, so half my patch is out
Half your patch is loft conversions and internal alterations instead, and almost nobody has written those pages for Armley, Beeston or Harehills. The homeowner who has been told an extension is impossible is still looking for somebody to give them a different answer.
Conversion work for landlords is where the money is
Then it needs its own page, because turning a house into a shared house needs planning permission in parts of this city that it does not need in others. A landlord searching that question wants somebody who already knows the answer, and almost nobody has written it down.
How do I say which councils I work under?
Name the edge. LS17, LS21, LS24, LS25 and LS29 cross out of Leeds into North Yorkshire or Bradford, so a job at the top of your radius goes through a different building control from one in LS6. One sentence, and it tells a homeowner you have done this before.
I cover a lot more than Leeds
Then the site has to say so in the towns' own words. Only LS1 to LS20 and LS25 to LS27 carry Leeds as the post town. Otley, Wetherby, Tadcaster, Pudsey and Ilkley have their own, and a man in Wetherby reading a page headed Leeds decides it is not for him and rings somebody else.
What you get
A page per job, never a page per suburb.
The sequence of the job, week by week, in your own words.
A different buyer from an extension, so a different page.
Dates and sequence matter more than finished photographs.
The part nobody photographs and everybody worries about.
Where building control and a calculation enter the conversation.
The faster jobs that keep a team busy between the big ones.
Do you have drawings yet?
It sorts a customer who is ready to book from one who is eighteen months out, and both are worth having.
Checkable, like the rest of this page. Here is where we read it.
LS17, LS21, LS24, LS25 and LS29 cross out of Leeds into North Yorkshire or Bradford, so a job at the top of a Leeds firm's radius can sit under a different council's building control from one in LS6.

Beeforge is a small studio working across the UK and Ireland. There is no office in Leeds and we are not going to pretend otherwise — nothing here says we have worked in the city, only that we build for builders who do.
